Opponent Seed in NCAA Tournament: 11

Unlike UNO, Kansas State emerged victorious in their play-in game tonight against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons for the right to play the six seed Cincinnati Bearcats out of the American Athletic Conference.

K-State got the best of the Cowboys the first time around at GIA. But the Cowboys got revenge in their second meeting with the Wildcats, in Manhattan. Moreover, K-State and WVU are the only two teams on the list that split their season series with the Pokes.

The Wildcats are the lowest seed of all teams from the Big 12 in the NCAA Tournament. And they got off to a solid start, winning their First Four matchup with the Deacs.

Watch out for K-State to catch fire in the NCAA Tournament after a rough finish for them to the regular season and Big 12 Tournament.
