1. Marcell Ateman

Position: Wide Receiver

Year: Redshirt Senior

The no. 1 player on this list is also one of the most well-known who has been with Cowboy football for a very long time. Wide receiver Marcell Ateman is incredibly athletic and has already proven himself to be a valuable asset to the Cowboys.

However, Ateman missed what should have been his final season in Stillwater due to an ankle injury. He ended up redshirting and staying at OK State for a fifth season. Ateman will join the likes of Washington, Lacy, McCleskey, and Stoner to form an insanely talented receiving corps for Rudolph to throw to.

The most pressing question for Ateman is his health. Is his ankle ready to go and will he be in game shape by the time the season rolls around? Those questions will start to be answered during Spring Practice but it’s hard to tell for sure until the actual season starts in September.
