Tyreek Hill Enrolls at West Alabama, Likely to Play Saturday
Well, after initially announcing that he would be joining the Akron Zips football team, it appears that former Cowboy running back Tyreek Hill is heading to Livingston, Alabama to play football for the West Alabama Tigers. And by ‘it appears,’ I mean he is there, and he will be playing this Saturday.
Tigers coach Brett Gilliand is confident that Hill will have a successful run with the school, telling the Tigers’ official website “We hold a high standard for both our football program and our university. We believe Ty will be successful with the detailed support structure we have at West Alabama.”
Ty? That’s the name he’s listed under on the Tigers’ roster. Hopefully this new name on a new team means a new leaf for Hill.
The Tigers are a relatively successful Division II program, winning several conference titles over the last few years. They currently have five players in the NFL.
