The Oklahoma State Cowboys had a fairly successful 2023 season. Finishing with a 10-4 overall record and finishing second in the Big 12 behind Texas should be considered big accomplishments for Mike Gundy and his team.

Following the end of the Cowboys’ season, three players entered their names into the NFL Draft.

Safety Kendal Daniels as well as wide receivers De’Zhaun Stribling and Jaden Bray.

Daniels was a four-star recruit out of high school and Bray was a three-star prospect while Stribling went largely overlooked by Power-5 programs. They all performed well at OK State and had successful collegiate careers.

Sadly, I don’t think the three Cowboys will hear their names called during the seven rounds of the draft this April. In comparison to other players at their positions, the trio will be pushed beyond the 224 picks.

I do think that Stribling and Bray have the possibility of being picked up by teams through free agency. I also think that all three have the viable option of playing in a different league such as the XFL or USFL and working their way up to the caliber of play required in the NFL.
