Parker Robinson Brings Size and Skill to the Cowboys’ 2026 Class
Oklahoma State basketball continues to heat up on the recruiting trail, landing another major piece for its 2026 class in Parker Robinson, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard currently playing for Overtime Elite in Atlanta, Georgia.
Originally from Maryland, Robinson is rated as the No. 116 overall prospect in the 2026 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, as well as the No. 17 shooting guard nationally and the No. 7 overall prospect out of Georgia.
Relationships With the Coaching Staff Made the Difference
Robinson cited his strong relationship with the Oklahoma State coaching staff as the deciding factor in his commitment.
"“The coaching staff came down to Atlanta multiple times to watch me practice, watch me play, and have conversations with me,” Robinson said. “When I went on my official visit, I fell in love with the school and the town. Stillwater is a smaller town, but the passion for sports is incredible. With Coach Lutz in his second year, there’s a real opportunity for me and the other freshmen to help set the tone for the program.”"Parker Robinson
Robinson also praised the program’s approach to player development and how important they take it, noting that his visit gave him a full picture of life as a Cowboy.
"“During my official visit, I spent 48 to 56 hours with the staff, meeting everyone from the dietitian and strength coach to the sports psychologist and NIL team,” he explained. “Hearing what each part of the program can offer and how they can help me develop my career was huge.”"Parker Robinson
The addition of Robinson is another significant win for head coach Steve Lutz, who continues to build one of the nation’s top recruiting classes. Oklahoma State recently secured commitments from Latrell Almond and Jalen Montonati, boosting the Cowboys’ 2026 class to No. 4 nationally.
Steve Lutz Has the Program Trending Upward
This latest commitment underscores the growing momentum surrounding Oklahoma State basketball under Lutz’s leadership. In just his second year, Lutz has injected energy and optimism into a program determined to reestablish itself among the Big 12’s elite.
With Robinson now on board, the Cowboys’ 2026 class represents not just a collection of talented prospects, but a clear sign that the program’s culture and vision are resonating with recruits nationwide.
Coach Lutz has this program running on helium right now and there’s no sign he’s letting up on the gas pedal.
