3. The OU muffed punt

OSU has made several crucial third-quarter mistakes and was ready to pounce when it was OU’s turn.

Eric Gray’s fumble with 9:43 left in the game was a potentially game-costing error for the Sooners. He muffed the punt return within the 5 yard-line, and it only took OSU three plays to capitalize — Jaylen Warren scored the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard run.

2. Mike Gundy’s hat

OSU’s head coach was spotted donning a black Cowboy hat at the end of the game. He was trying to suppress a smile after wiping the orange Gatorade from his face as he took the field to shake hands with Lincoln Riley.

Gundy now has his third Bedlam win as the Cowboys’ boss.

1. Collin Oliver’s sack

OSU defensive end Collin Oliver was the star of the show for the Cowboys and made the game’s final stop. He capped a wildly successful freshman season in Stillwater with a Bedlam performance for the ages.

Cowboys fans everywhere could be heard hyperventilating as OU quarterback Caleb Williams raced down the field in the final minute on a 56-yard gain, but he has thwarted moments later by Oliver. Already on the ground, the freshman grabbed Williams’ leg to make the sack.

The former Edmond Santa Fe standout had two sacks in his first Bedlam appearance.
