Oklahoma State football had a strong showing in the 2021 NFL Draft, seeing four players drafted for only the second time since 2010. Offensive lineman Teven Jenkins was drafted early in the second round by the Chicago Bears, wide receiver Tylan Wallace went in the fourth round to the Baltimore Ravens, Chuba Hubbard went in the fourth round to the Carolina Panthers, and Rodarius Williams went in the sixth round to the New York Giants.

Though it was certainly a down year for the Big 12, Jenkins was the league’s first player drafted for 2021 and was the first OSU offensive lineman selected in the draft since Russell Okung in 2010.

Now that the dust has settled from this year’s draft, it’s time to look ahead at OSU’s best prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Many things can happen before, during, and after the 2021 college football season that pertain to a player’s stock in the 2022 NFL Draft. There are summer workouts, fall camp, the ups and downs of the season itself, and spring showcase opportunities such as the Senior Bowl or various pro day workouts.

There’s a lot untold, too, concerning playing time that opens up or a player who can seize a starring on-field role this fall. With the information we have now, though, let’s take an early look at OSU’s best prospects for the 2022 NFL Draft — which includes one running back poised for another breakout season and two stalwarts from an improved Cowboy defense.
