Some of the most heartbreaking games the Cowboys played in this season came against the Baylor Bears, who claimed the three seed in the NCAA Tournament. OK State’s two losses against BU came by a combined seven points.

BU had as good of non-conference schedule performance as any team in the country. The Bears ended up with their first no. 1 ranking in program history. Yet, their played dropped a bit in the Big 12.

They still ended up with a very respectable seed in the Tournament. BU faces the 14 seed New Mexico State Aggies in the Round of 64.

Yet, their prospective matchup in the Round of 32 looks much more difficult. The six seed SMU Mustangs likely wait in the second round for whoever ends up the victor between NMSU and BU.

The Bears were one of three teams on this list to sweep the Cowboys this season.
