1. Oklahoma Sooners

Season: 2014

Date: Dec. 6, 2014

Result: Oklahoma State 38, Oklahoma 35

Sadly enough, this is the lone victory for the Cowboys against OU in the last five seasons. Weirdly enough, this was probably the most unlikely victory the Cowboys could have pulled off against the Sooners in the last five seasons.

This was Rudolph’s first Bedlam, and he capped it off in the right way. However, the thing that truly trademarked this game was Tyreek Hill’s punt return for a touchdown to tie the game in the final minutes.

OK State took the game to overtime and Ben Grogan kicked the game winning field goal to seal the victory for the Pokes.

The Cowboys needed a victory in this game to become bowl eligible and they accomplished what they needed to. Even though this victory game in the midst of the worst Cowboy football season in recent memory, OK State at least capped it off in style.

There may have been some other victories on this list with more national significance for the Cowboys but very few with more significance to OK State fans. The Cowboys beat their in-state rival and became bowl eligible, all in the same night.
