SEC Big 12 Challenge A Great Concept

LSU at Texas Tech

The Match Up: Wouldn’t this be a delight? The Mad Hatter versus the Anna Kournikova of College Football. Watching LSU’s offense is about as exciting as watching two men fish. Watching Texas Tech’s defense is equally painful, but LSU’s might be a passing game the Red Raiders could stop. But could they stop the run?

Leonard Fournette and an offensive line might be the only weapons the Tigers would need in Lubbock. Witness what the Arkansas running game did to Tech. Les Miles is not the brightest coach in America, but he wins over Kliff Kingsbury anywhere but a bachelor auction. Score: LSU 41 Texas Tech 17

Likely or Not: This is another match up that is not hard to envision at Jerry World but tougher to imagine as a true road game. The last true LSU road game against a non-SEC Power Five opponent? 2011 at West Virginia. Texas Tech is not making that phone call anyway. We are more likely to see Kingsbury without his Ray-Bans than this game.
