We will go with Mizzou as the second best team in the SEC although they represent a little corner of the conference SEC fans prefer to ignore.

The Match Up: This is an old Big 12 match up we never got to see. TCU was in exile in the Mountain West Conference while Mizzou was making noise during their final years in the Big 12. Two well-coached teams with similar styles would collide. TCU has added some punch to their offense with the hiring of Frank Broyles Award candidate Doug Meacham. That would be enough to push the Horned Frogs past the Tigers.

Gary Patterson is a very good defensive coach and the Frogs would force a few more punts than Mizzou. Score: TCU 41 Mizzou 28

Likely or Not: This match up is not too hard to fathom. Mizzou recruits in Texas and has a familiarity with Big 12 country. Patterson would still feel insulted and disrespected after the victory and chide a few unknowing reporters from St. Louis with his hoarse voice about disrespecting the program. It would be great!
