There is no other way to put it, the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Cowgirls have a huge weekend in front of them. Saturday alone, OK State has six different teams competing. The day starts off with men’s and women’s cross country competing in the Big 12 Indoor Track Championships in Ames, Iowa.

Women’s basketball takes on West Virginia at 5 p.m. CT in Gallagher-Iba Arena for the final home game of the Cowgirls’ season. The Cowgirls defeated Texas Tech 75-62 in their last game on Feb. 22. However, OK State women’s basketball is far out of the NCAA Tournament picture right now, so they are just trying to finish the season strong to gain momentum for the 2017-18 campaign.

Softball takes on New Mexico State at 12 p.m. CT as part of their last game in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Palm Springs, CA. OK State softball enters the matchup with NMSU with a 7-7 record.

After losing to Colorado in the first round of the NCAA Championships last year, OK State women’s soccer takes the field once again. They kick off their Spring Exhibitions against Missouri Southern and Oral Roberts on Saturday in Tulsa.

Baseball takes the field at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium for the second game in their three game series with the Texas State Bobcats. OK State won the first game in the series yesterday in a 10-7 thriller. Cowboy baseball enters game two in the series with a 3-2 record.

Last but not least, men’s basketball takes on TTU today at 1 p.m. CT at GIA. Head coach Brad Underwood can lead the Cowboys to a 20 win season for the first time since the 2014-15 campaign. The matchup with TTU is the second to last home game on the schedule with the only game remaining coming against the no. 3 Kansas Jayhawks in the regular season finale on March 4.
